the dailies: acielle from style du monde.

You asked for it. [Actually, you begged for it]. I’m back with a full week of Dailies, and you have NO idea how much I’ve missed these! Thanks for being patient while I lined up a few more willing artists and designers— you’ll be super happy with our participants this week, so I’m just going to get down to business:

Welcome Acielle from Style du Monde, one heck of a street fashion blog. I’m always so excited to see who she’s found next, as she has the BEST taste EVER. Anyway, Acielle is giving us the inside scoop on what a day in her life is like… complete with a mini video! Eek! Without further ado…

Wakey wakey! Quick look at the latest comments on my Style Du Monde blog.  Cool comments always kickstart my day! It’s Saturday, it’s stylespotting day.  I go over my Style Du Monde checklist: camera, extra battery, extra memory card, business cards, notebook… I am ready to rock!

Time for my daily swim in the city pool. I picked up swimming almost a year a ago.  I totally love it. Can’t think of a better way to clear my head and stay in shape.

A quick stop in Brussels to run a few errands. I love Brussels. I  must confess that I haven’t done any stylespotting in Brussels so far, but I surely plan to in the coming weeks.

I’m off to Antwerp!

Time for a bite!  It’s terrace weather so lunch at Café Canal looks like a fun option. My pick for today: tomato soup + a goatcheese ciabatta. Yummy!

Time for a break! It’s weekend so I treat myself to some delicious banana cake!

Style hunting went really well today. I was lucky to find some great folks. Be sure to check out Style Du Monde in the coming days for all the details!

Back to Leuven. I’m taking bit of rest before I head off to Marktrock, Leuven’s biggest city festival with 120.000 visitors .  After checking out some bands I decide that I still have enough energy left for some dancing!  On duty is DJ Zaki, who also happens to be the father of world famous DJ duo Soulwax.  As you can see: fun for young and old! :-)
