the dailies: morran engman.

I’m so so excited for today’s dailies. In case you’re unfamiliar, The Dailies is a feature in which artist/designers/bloggers walk us through a day in their life, hour by hour, with lots and lots of photos! Today is a VERY special treat as we’re joined by the star of the Camilla Engman duo: her dog Morran.

For those of you who read Camilla’s fantastic blog, you’re quite aware of how charming her dog is. Today, Morran has kindly offered us a sneak peek into her dog days, nap by nap. ;)

The master wakes up first, both Camilla and Morran sleeps a little bit longer. Then Camilla wakes up and Morran still sleeps a little longer with the whole bed for her self.

Eating with a grumpy face.

Morning yoga.

Come on, hurry up!

Morran pee’s a lot, like 20-30 times under a walk, and with her leg up – Morran is a she…

There’s lot of other dogs in the park.

The other dogs are not as interesting as squirrels.

Morning coffee with Elisabeth, planning the studio move.

Working.

Morran LOVES toys. These are just a few in her collection.

Ready, steady…

…go.

Out for a walk again. Morran is out in the green about 1-2 hours a day, at least.

If it is not raining of course, Morran hates rain.

Two long noses.

More pee.

Eating shrimps and craw fish with Johan and Sandra.

Good night!

  19. How cute! I always wonder what goes on inside of dog’s heads and it never fails to amuse me when we invent their “human” personality!

  28. OMG. I have the HUGEST crush on Morran!

I think just being able to see her for real (and maybe hold her too for a wee while) justifies buying a ticket to Sweden alone.

  37. Hi all and *thank you* for your comments! I’m so glad Morran can’t read all of this, she would be a pain in the neck after all that, full of self importance (as if she isn’t already ;).

Maybe you would like to know that Morran is 9 years old and a Danish/swedish farmdog (supposed to chase rats and alarm if strangers appears). I hope she will be a real old lady.

    camilla Engman — September 6, 2008 @ 3:27 am
  38. I am a Morran fan from years gone by. She is probably the most beloved dog on the internet, and now you can see why ;) Thanks for sharing her with us, Camilla.

  48. OMG Dear, this is exactly like with my cat ultra, that wakes up the latest, always takes naps (in the main bedroom of course), has him own toys by his living room pillow bed, all chewed up, DEMANDS his chicken when his master eats chicken, and so on hehehe amazing… I love to see how we humanize them *giggle*
    Hugs :D

    Gis — September 8, 2008 @ 5:04 am
  49. That is amazing that Morran hasn’t chewed up her toys. Does she just sort of lick them? My dog Toto chews hers until they are unrecognizable pieces of rubber.
