this morning I had a coffee with a friend, in a tiny cafe called Pif, on the corner of Masarykova and Preradoviceva (that’s Croatian names of streets for you). ‘I need some love now’, he sighed and looked through the window (window table is the best there). It can be any type of love, second-hand, weird, complicated, delivered in an old shoebox, I don’t care. Just let it come my way.
It would be nice if this box came his way. But if not, I am already placing some chocolate cookies, woolen socks, pictures of my high-school boyfriends and jane austen’s paperbacks in a big cardboard box I found in my paper bin.
