I realize it’s Saturday and I never post on Saturdays, but I’m thoroughly disappointed [I was supposed to leave for the beautiful land of Ireland on Tuesday to visit a very best friend/relative of mine, but my passport is somehow lost [read: vanished in thin air] in the post, so I’ll be canceling my trip and sulking for a few days until Higher Power decides to let me loose out of the country and the passport magically appears in my mailbox].

Oh! I’ve been curious about the magazine. So sorry about your passport. That happened to my birth certificate a couple years ago. It appeared in thin air (while a little tipsy) – so I recommend drinking a couple glasses of wine and trying again.

There is something called emergence passport I think… a kind of temporary passport if you can’t find yours!? Maybe you’ve already canceled or made research for this but if not, it’s worth checking… get one at the airport or the authorities? good luck

The same happened to me before a trip to Belize, and as my mother always tells me – stop and do something totally different for a while and get your mind completely off the thing (i.e. passport) and then retrace your steps, eyes closed, and then slowly figure out where it is. You may have tried this already but just trying to help :)

I love the joy of getting something you think it’s lost, then it reappears!
There’s this pair of earrings, I lost several time that it just fell of from my ear, everytime, it land in my purse, my pocket, someone spot it….I feel a special connection to this pair of earrings.

Although, I think I can top that… at the airport, Christmas, 1 hour to flight and no visas… had to purchase 4 tickets (the whole family) on another airline who would process visas for us… whew… we still made it but boy did I feel %*!
