Like love at first sight, I fell in love with Catherine Campbell’s art a couple of years ago and have been an avid reader of her blog ever since. Her pieces frequently remind me of a vintage catalogue containing an array of rather ornate-looking delicate dainty belles that has been brought to life with her carefree and colourful input. The juxtaposition of serious-looking slender subjects suddenly transformed into carnivals of colour in a carefully-applied kaleidoscope of hues never fails to take my breath away everytime as I continually revel at the talents of Ms. Campbell.
Wallflowers suddenly made wholesome thanks to rainbow hues imposed by Catherine’s (extremely talented) hand :)
She’s my favourite artist, I love her style and the way she uses papercuts with drawings. Yeah she’s just great. Love this.

I love My Folk Lover, I’m an Illustration student in England and I’ve used these images to support a lot of my work over the past year. I think these illustrations and the rest of them are some of the mostest beautifulest illustrations i’ve ever seen.
absolutely adorable, these little girls have inspired me beyond imagination for my art folio. i am in year 12 and have been head over heels with Catherine Campbell’s work, i would be thrilled to recieve such stunners.
