jaime martinez.

I used to hate the color purple, and now I’m sorta OK w/ it. Still wouldn’t take a bath with it, but hey — we’re friends.

  1. Agreed on not being too keen on purple… BUT, when you photograph it like this (next to a dead plant for contrast), it’s pretty much awesome.

  2. Agreed. Although this image is awesome. I feel like purple had a resurgence lately, but I’m still not convinced. It also unfortunately (for purple) reminds me of the Red Hat ladies too much.

  3. This is too suicide-by-slitting-wrists-in-bathtub-full-of-water for me. The image makes me totally uncomfortable!
    (Yes, I know…I have issues…)

  5. I love this. I love the purple in all shades. I’m convinced it’s the color of my soul.

  6. I used to work for a natural cosmetics company. there were several purple items in stock. once, a young lady came in and bought quite a few of them, so I went “uh, you seem to love purple”. She replied” Oh, I hadn’t noticed. But yeah, purple is a great color. It stops you from getting pregnant, too”. She meant it. She didn’t have any kid with her either.

  7. This reminds me of design school dye days…my apartment bathtub was quite the colorway.
