• I just got my first tattoo at the ripe ol age of 37! I too love the pine cones and so different than all the cookie cutter tats out there now.

  • I’m not a tattoo girl either but that is nice. I’m kind of liking the inner arm plant tattoos I’ve been seeing lately.

  • I’ll never be a tattoo girl either, but I always appreciate the confidence of folks who really pull them off! I’m just too indecisive!

  • I’m not a tattoo person at all, either. But, I do admire people who have something special they want to say or keep forever. I have a feeling that we ‘non tattoo-ists’ are going to be the minority when we are older. Our grandkids are going to be asking where our tattoos are, instead of the other way around.

Artistically, the pine branch is done beautifully. Personally and anatomically, I think it’s slightly too close to the armpit- maybe even evoking some unfortunate thoughts of chaotic armpit hair.

    :) thank you for sharing!

  • I was 18 and on a solo trip in Chicago and needed something to do, so I dropped the yellow pages and let it flip open. It landed on ‘Tattoo Parlors.’ I was soon in a cab and off to the famous Jade Dragon. I was wearing zebra print ponyskin sandals so I picked out a tribal zebra tattoo.

    True story.

(I’ve since decided I’d like to redo it a bit and have seriously considered getting something ala Berkley Illustration)

  • I am not sure wether I am a tatoo girl or not (coming close to 40) but I love the pine and that painted tatoo.

Also, have been caught up by my life lately and totally missed the new design. Looks great.

  • those watercolour tats are AMAZING. i just booked myself a new one for my birthday. i can’t wait.

  • i took this photo! just thought i would let you all know — it’s a tattoo of redwood leaves. this was about 30 seconds after they finished the piece.

  • Sorry to be the correction police, im pretty sure that’s a redwood. Nice tat though
