Design For Mankind

a dry erase persian rug.

OMG. Chris Held and Andrew Vomhof created a painstakingly time-consuming Persian rug out of a dry erase board and a few markers.

And then? They erased it.

Wowza.

wednesday wish list.

It’s that time again; Wednesday wish list! I’ve got a ton of products, mostly accessories, that I’m totally loving at the moment. The good news? Some are affordable, which means I can [perhaps] indulge myself. Big perhaps there.

Here we go!:

a galaxy of awesome.

I don’t think I’d mind living in Lionel’s galaxy a bit.

Unless, of course, his galaxy doesn’t have lemonade. If that’s the case, the deal’s off.

milk from a thistle.

Brushed stroke details make for a lovely new collection. Also, that side fishtail braid? Makes me want to re-grow my hair out!

random inspiration.

Three things, folks:

1. This DIY chevron project idea? Genius. I’d love to try it with something decidedly less purple, b/c you know… the color thing.
2. I’ve found the best source for plaster busts EVER. Affordable and chic. Visit Plastercraft (I love Diana!), and if you’re feeling fun, I’d lacquer one in neon pink.
3. Third? I’m slowly growing accustomed to pattern, and I fear it may be taking over my left brain. But how sweet is this dual patterned home office? Ooooh, the ideas.

Off to help supervise Husband at the house! It’s getting closer, guys!
