Happy Friday, sweet things! I have a lovely surprise for you today: another Daily! Kristyna Litten lives in Edinburgh and draws the sweetest little animals. She also manages to juggle school and her super creative life, and today, we’re joining her over the pond!

Take it away, Kristyna!:

8:15 Get up after a rather sleepless night, seeing my degree show dawning up on me faster and faster. Draw back the curtains and check out the weather. The weather here in Edinburgh is pretty unpredictable and the last few days of terensial rain, snow and glorious sunshine is a prime example. Luckily it looks like a great day.

8:30 Perch up in front of my computer with a breakfast of tea and muesli, not something I’d have usually but it went down well. First thing I do is check my emails- of course.

9:00 Have a shower, wash away theĀ  lion hair I seem to have woken up with this morning, which is rather un-presentable for the public.

9:25 Look over the work that I did last night- for some reason unrelated to any work I am doing at the moment, I decided to paint a tree. Probably do anything but my actual work moments. But it gave be something to post on my blog other than the chickens I seem to have been drawing these last few months for a children’s book I’m in the middle of.

9:45 Frantically packing to go to Newcastle later on today. Realising I will also have to take work with me and that I actually don’t own any reasonably sized pencils. It seems that I go through them at a vast rate.

10:20 Make my self presentable- it has been a few days since I’ve been further than the local shop or worn anything other than Pj bottoms or what I like to call my ‘ Apartment pants’.

10:30 In a rush leave the flat to meet fellow illustrator and home show addict Menna Jenkins, to accompany me in my first flat viewing of the year. Flat viewing gets as bit crazy here but I just love looking around new flats.

11:15 Unfortunately it was not to be my new home, but we gathered some local produce deciding to make ourselves a lovely healthy lunch.

11:30 We arrive back at Menna’s and I begin to chop up onions- weep weep- not my favourite thing to do in the world but where ever I seem to go ( in terms of cooking a meal that is) it seems to be the job I am always given, but it was worth it- belly full- Mission accomplished.

12:30 Left in a rush to get back home, pick up my bags and leave to go to College.

1:00 Loaded up like a donkey I head across the meadows, Its always a lovely walk to college, bagged up or not.

1:30 Readily armed with bone folder and paper I was well prepared for a book binding workshop with Alice Melvin. So jealous of her work; also knows how to draw a cracking bird.

4:30 The workshop finished rather early than expected, leaving me to have no other choose but do a little widow shopping in some of my favorite shops.

5:30 Getting a little tired from the bag carrying, I decide to buy a few edible items for my train journey. I’m kind of one of those people that whether hungry or not, long or short journey needs to eat something on a train ride. I opt for chocolate and wine.

6:30 Finally get on the train- get out some work to look all important and chomp away at my snacks listening to a bit of Band Of Horses.

7:30 I decide against the wine for now, believing that meeting my boyfriend who I haven’t seen in a few weeks a bit tipsy wouldn’t be the best idea. But luckily when I arrive he has cooked me a lovely dinner and the wine goes down a treat.

9:00 Have a few drinks with the boyf and some graphic designer folk in a lovely little bar in Newcastle.

11:45 Settle down, and watch a bit of The Office before falling asleep half way through.
