Come on. That red string on your finger was so yesterday.

p.s. I promise I’ll share the story of my weekend soon enough, but I’m in SF soaking up the fun on the last day of my visit! Don’t hate me b/c I’m Californian.

I’ve got nothing to say, other than I want to eat this cutie little popsicle dog!

off to san fran!

I’m traveling again this week, so there will be no weekend mash-up. I know; I’m tearing you up. But what would you say if I promised to return with loads of inspiration? Because I’m going to. Because where I’m going in San Francisco is going to blow my polka dotted socks off.

I’ll be attending Mighty Summit for the weekend, a retreat filled to the brim with media moguls and ladies-of-the-awesome in general. I’m so crazy excited. Partly because I LOVE ladies, and also because I get to debut my new hair and cute clothes. And any excuse to dress up makes my toes tingly.

Also? Massages and yoga. Bonus.

And Maggie Mason will be there. Which means that Maggie’s hair will be there, which means I’ll be drooling. Here’s hoping a bib will fit in my suitcase…

See you next week!

exclusive interview: anthology mag sneak peek!

Boy do I have a treat for you guys this morning. If you’re a bit of a magazine junkie (like me!), you’ve undoubtedly heard the buzz of the newest mag in town: Anthology. Because I love to support start-ups, independent businesses and the beauty of print, I was thrilled to offer Meg Mateo Ilasco (creative director of Anthology and all-around goddess of publishing) a spot on Design for Mankind to chat about the mag.

Read on for some serious inspiration. And take notes. This Anthology team is smart, and this mag is going to be huuuuge. Take it away, Meg!
