two-faced.

I almost made an ‘Eye of the Tiger’ joke, but I stopped myself. Although I’m completely laughing internally, FYI.

an outtake from our readymade shoot.

I mentioned a few weeks ago that we were busy prepping the home for a magazine shoot, and I’m thrilled that I can give you a sneak peek today!

Adam, John and Ho-Mui were so delightful to work with and we can’t wait to see the feature in ReadyMade Magazine later this summer. I can’t give any hints as to what you’ll see, but know it will be absolutely fantastic.

Thanks to the ReadyMade team, John Francis Peters and Rumors Studio!

stuff from my google reader.

I caught up on my Google Reader yesterday and my gracious, there were some hidden gems in there! Here are a few goodies I love from around the web:

My new favorite Tumblr via Nazara.

Embroidered toile shoes — love this!

An amazing IKEA hack — no tools required.

Arian Behzadi does amazing things with paint brushes.

Stationery with a sense of humor via Tina. Yes!

This hat? I need (via Shiny Squirrel).

p.s. Thanks again for bearing with me during this move. I have sooo much to share when I get things unpacked and in order!

hot air balloon plates.

I’m planning to decorate our guest bedroom in a very monochromatic palette (surprised?) with lots of inky charcoal accents. I’m thinking these vintage hot air balloon plates would be perfect to display on the wall, no? ($48)

the chair alphabet.

I love a good alphabet, and I love chairs. Fate? Perhaps.

here’s a question.

Fieldguided Tote, $20

I woke up this morning feeling… restless. I can’t put my finger on any other emotion than that one, and I think it stems from the trashing of my life list. I mean, sure, I have goals. But how many of my goals are for myself — and how many are for greater mankind?

a soothing poster.

I’m going to venture to say this will match any decor in the world. Which is sort of capital A awesome.
