a fine art photograph.

Am really loving this fine art photograph from an English Etsy seller. White space is the best invention ever.

Ha! This print makes me giggle. Artist Gary Taxali collaborated with the Toronto Drake Hotel to create three site specific installations and is now offering the artwork as a limited edition print.($150)

Oh, collections.

I don’t take pottery classes, but if I did, this is exactly what I’d wear:

[Patterned silk tee: Thrifted, Dress (as added layer): Lulu's, Jeans: Gap, Shoes: Vintage, Handbag: ALDO (2004), Necklace: Larkin&Larkin, Photo: Betsy King]

Last time I wore this necklace, I got made fun of. But it’s OK, because it is the prettiest piece I have ever laid eyes on and I wear it near daily anyway.

p.s. I wear the dress above more unzipped as a layer than I do as a dress. All hail the zipper dress.

I’m totally doing this today. Wine, cheese, bread. Done.
A. Organic Lunch Bag ($18) at CB2
B. Bambu Utensils ($10) at Amazon
C. Plaid Wedges ($70) at ModCloth
D. Table Grill ($360) at A+R
E. Glass Bottle ($4) at IKEA
F. Queen Bisque Blanket ($140) at Jayson Home & Garden

Monochromatic shapes painted by a Midwesterner? You know I’m all over this one.

I wrote about our guest bedroom on HGTV.com last week, but wanted to share the source list for those of you craving a monochromatic haven of your own!

I’ve been beefing up my design library recently and highly recommend these three reads. Yet again, can you really go wrong with Avedon and Maripol?

With geometric art on the rise, modern quilt patterns are bound to continue popping up. So exciting!
