lottery ticket art.

Jamie made a screenprint with her losing lotto tickets, juxtaposed with the winning numbers. I’m in total love with the finished product.

Proof that losers are awesome.

geometric patterns.

Reader Bridget sent over a link to this fun blog and I instantly fell for these sweet little geometric patterns and prints (I’d love this as a bedspread). Yes!

a 2d dollhouse.

This print from Jonathan Ryan totally reminds me of an abstract sorta dollhouse. With an apple on the roof, of course.

happy journey collective.

Happy Journey Collective is a group of artisans illustrating their own coffins. Morbid, but really really beautiful.

kate neckel draws on the walls of ace hotel.

My dear friend Kate Neckel emailed me yesterday to share her latest doodles  — on the wall of room 1208 at Ace Hotel New York, no less.

She writes:
While creating this world on the wall, Ace guests and friends and staff dropped in to tell me about their fave Ace things. It was perfect since the people of the Ace really make everything come alive.

For this? Ace Hotel is now even higher on my list of fave places to crash.

alyson fox.

Alyson Fox has some new work up and I’m enamored (as usual) with her figure drawings. This gal can do no wrong.
