Monika stitches her floorboards. How cool is that?!

p.s. I would totally tie Husband’s shoelaces to each stitch on April 1st. Or October 1st. Or, well, any day of the year. And then? Then I would laugh wildly.

A simple concept, but the execution is magnificent. If I wasn’t so afraid of color in my home, I’d scatter these beauties everywhere!

crocheted rubber bowl.

Have you seen the lovely crocheted rubber bowl? Yes. Crocheted rubber. Don’t ask me how that’s possible, because I’m not crafty and my head is totally exploding right now.

Brilliant.

plastic lace.

Sweet Laure sent me a few photos she snapped of Kristen Wicklund’s work a few weeks ago, and I swooned over this gal’s entire portfolio.

Here’s Kristen crafting lacy textiles out of reclaimed shopping bags. Brilliant.
