design books.

I’ve been beefing up my design library recently and highly recommend these three reads. Yet again, can you really go wrong with Avedon and Maripol?

I’m researching wooden apartments for a personal project, and can you believe this Scandinavian beauty? Lovely.

colorful spaces.

Wowza. I’m loving Irina Graewe’s “One Two Three” styling series. Also of note? SilverPaperWonderland. Hop to it.

minimalist interiors.

As much as I so badly want to become a minimalist, I don’t have it in me. (I’m a total magpie.) Regardless, these images photographed by Ditte take me far away from the cluttered corners of my own home and have me dreaming for wide, empty spaces.

p.s. If you’re a lover of minimalism, you’ll love the aptly-named Tumblr, On Minimalism.

super styling.

Loving this image from a Rorstrand campaign that Idha photographed. Filing under “inspiration” now!

a vibrant photo shoot.

Tulips hold a special place in my heart, and Holland’s tulips were actually one of the first ReadyMade articles I’d ever written (r.i.p., ReadyMade – I miss you so!). Naturally, this tulip-infused photo shoot from Viviane Sassen caught my eye. Such bold colors!

Oh, cobalt. You make gray skies blue (literally!) and I couldn’t love you more. (Plus, you’re the color of my favorite shoes. Bonus.) Cobalt, I salute you!

a dance lesson floor decal.

I always use Blik designs in my home for a quick and easy pick-me-up, and I’m currently craving this sweet dance lessons decal to spice up my garage. So cute!
