kim asendorf’s pixel graphics.

Kim’s pixel artwork is out of this world. Truly. She’s gotta be an alien. (The awesome kind, I’m sure.)

nicholas bohac’s mixed media piece.

Oh, snap. This piece is outrageously patterned in the most yummiest of ways.

the creepiest cool.

In life, there’s cool. And then there’s creepy cool.* Let me define the two for you:

Cool was the quarterback of your high school’s football team.
Creepy cool was your lab partner that started at you intently and wore a Styx tee and brown cardigan.

Olaf Hajek is a creepy cool artist. Which, from me, is pretty much the highest compliment EVER.

*Well, and then, of course, there’s just creepy.

art in the everyday: modern polka dots.

Christoph Brach and Daniera ter Hear created inket prints with dye made from food (red cabbage, beetroot and pumpkin!).

The result is spectacular little polka dots. Brilliant!

painted driftwood.

A simple concept, but the execution is magnificent. If I wasn’t so afraid of color in my home, I’d scatter these beauties everywhere!

colorful little pills.

I spotted the work of Mauro Perucchetti over at Ignant a few weeks ago, and my goodness. Who knew medicine could be so lovely?

a 2d dollhouse.

This print from Jonathan Ryan totally reminds me of an abstract sorta dollhouse. With an apple on the roof, of course.

art in the everyday: nuria mora.

Nuria’s street paintings inject much-needed color into otherwise dilapidated buildings. Oh, to be a color injector by trade!
