If florals are the new stripes, then sofas (or couches, as we I say in the Midwest) are definitely the new chairs.

Found this goodie on Dream and Awake’s Flickr (is it flickr day or what?), and just as a side note? If you’re a girl, Dream and Awake sells very, very pretty dresses.

Or, I suppose, if you’re not a girl. I don’t judge.

Valentina Vos takes pictures, and one of those pictures makes my girl-on-couch cut. It’s like Alice and Wonderland staying at her crazy Aunt Thelma’s house in Alaska.

Anyway, I spotted this image on Valentina’s flickr site, or you can visit her blog, because some of you are into that. The good news? There are quite a bit of hippies over on her blog, and they’ll kindly welcome you aboard.

I’m sure of it.

Well, crap. I don’t know for a fact that this is a couch, as it sort of looks like a body pillow. But alas, in my head, it’s a couch.

With an awesome fabric and an even more awesome transcendental, virtual experience. Clearly.

I’m feeling whelmed today (don’t ask over or under, b/c I couldn’t tell you!) and am thinking of spending the day on the couch.

Instead, I’ll just post my favorite images of girls on couches. You know, a vicarious action of sorts.

This one’s one of my fave photos from Lukasz Wierzbowski (a.k.a. Neon Tambourine on Flickr), who likes to mesmerize people over on his SEQUIN COVERED SWANS tumblr account.

Which, by the way, is another band name I’m totally swipe if I knew how to play the wood block.
