the amber chair.

The Amber Chair is a chair dipped in amber-like polymer and then called art.
Could you have guessed that on your own? Oh, I’m sorry. You smart, young things, you.

prototype pick: pulp furniture.

Tel-Aviv-based design duo Odelia Lavie and Dan Hochberg created a living room set using paper pulp — creating a surprisingly strong, yet totally recyclable product.
Fund, fund, fund!

haim steinbach.

Haim Steinbach has dedicated his life work to the art of the shelf. I never knew a piece of furniture could be so… riveting? Is that the right word?
I bet he finds total solace at The Container Store.

t-shelf.

The T.SHELF is short for “Triangle Shelf” and long for “SHUT. UP.”
From J1 Studio:
“[The T.SHELF] is a unique shelving system that can be setup around your existing furniture, or can [hang] by itself on a wall as a sculptural object. The concept was to create furniture for modern nomadic culture. It is easy to setup and pack flat for space saving transportation. T.SHELF uses cable and zipties to tie every triangle into one piece of furniture/sculpture and functions as displaying books, magazines, plants, pictures, or anything you want to display.”
Gracious. I couldn’t be more madly in love with a shelf.
